Your R2 button might be stiff because of dirt or debris stuck underneath. Try gently cleaning it with compressed air!

It’s possible the haptic feedback mechanism is malfunctioning. Make sure your controller firmware is up to date.

I had the same problem! I opened up my DualSense and found some gunk jamming the R2 button. A quick clean fixed it!
