Definitely check if you have crossfade enabled. It can sometimes give the impression that random songs are playing by blending tracks together.
Dude, it happened to me too! Turned out I accidentally connected to the wrong speakers. Make sure you're on the right device in the Spotify app.
Sounds like you might have the shuffle feature turned on. Check to see if the shuffle icon is active and turn it off if it is!
