Go straight to the settings and clear that download cache! I swear it's like giving your Steam Deck a caffeine shot. Works wonders.

Honestly, it's probably just your internet. Steam and the Steam Deck are fine, it's your Wi-Fi that's the weak link.

Slow Steam Deck downloads can be a real drag! Most of the time, it's either your Internet connection not keeping up, or Steam's servers are under a heavy load, especially during big sales or game launches. It's always a good idea to check your Wi-Fi signal strength or switch to a wired connection if possible. Also, peek at Steam's server status online to see if they're experiencing issues. Another tip: try downloading during off-peak hours when fewer people are online!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
