Your Steam Deck might be running slow because it's running too many background applications. Try closing some apps and see if that helps!

You could have a lot of cached data bogging it down. Clear your cache and temporary files and give it another shot.

Have you updated the firmware recently? Sometimes, bugs and glitches can cause performance issues, so make sure everything's up-to-date.

Could be overheating. Make sure your Steam Deck has proper ventilation and isn't running for too long without breaks.

Might be the storage! If you've filled up the Steam Deck's storage, it can slow down. Make some space and check again.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
