Had the same issue, turns out Steam was just updating in the background. Give it a minute, or maybe a restart. Your library should pop back to normal once it's done.

If your Steam Library went all dark and mysterious on you, chances are your GPU drivers are throwing a tantrum. Give them a quick update and see if that brings back the light. Also, Steam might be having a moment, so a simple restart can work wonders. Trust me, it's like turning it off and on again, but for the sophisticated gamer.

It's a feature, not a bug! Jokes aside, it's likely just a glitch. Restart Steam or update it.

Check if Steam's in offline mode. Happened to me once, switching back online fixed it.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
