Why is my Valorant update stuck at 0.1 KB/s?
One word: traffic. Not cars, but internet. Sometimes when everyone jumps on to update at the same time, things get slow. Like, really slow. Try updating at off-peak hours, like super late or early in the morning. Works for me!

Firewall or antivirus might be your party pooper here. Check if they're getting a bit too overprotective and blocking Valorant from updating properly. Temporarily disable them (but don't forget to turn 'em back on later) and see if your update speeds up.
ISP throttling? Unfortunately, some ISPs throttle bandwidth during high-demand periods or if they detect heavy data usage like game updates. If none of the other fixes work, this might be your issue. A VPN could help, but that's a whole other can of worms.
Looks like your update decided to take a sloth day! Jokes aside, a super slow update speed like that usually points to a network issue. First step, give your router a good ol' restart. If that doesn't do the trick, pause and resume the update in the Valorant client. Sometimes, it just needs a little nudge to get going. Also, make sure to check if there's any ongoing server maintenance from Riot's end - that can slow things down too.
