Updating to the latest system software can help. Sometimes, the good folks at Microsoft fix bugs and boost performance with updates.
Make sure your Xbox One is not running out of storage space. Too many games and apps can choke its performance.
Overheating could be the culprit. Keep your Xbox in a ventilated area and make sure the vents are dust-free.
