Probably because licensing agreements and player rights can be complex. Maybe they just haven't worked it out yet!

I remember when Yu Darvish first came over. It was the same situation. Just have to wait for an update or next year's game.

It could be due to the fact that Seiya Suzuki wasn't officially a player in Major League Baseball when the game was released. Players who make the jump from other leagues sometimes get added later.

Hot take: They might just be holding him back for a roster update to hype up future downloads. Marketing ploy!

Honestly, don't expect every international player to be in the game right away. Those things take time and contracts.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
