Sonic Forces caught some flak for its linear levels and underwhelming story, leading fans to feel like it missed the high-speed excitement the series is famous for. But, hey, at least you can create your own character and dress them up in fun outfits!
Not every game can be a Green Hill Zone! Sonic Forces struggles with level design and character implementation, which some players didn't find exciting enough. But, to each their own, right?
Speaking from experience, Sonic Forces felt a bit too easy and short for my liking. It didn't keep me hooked like Sonic Mania did.
