Slow downloads on the Steam Deck? Check your Wi-Fi connection first! Make sure you're not too far from your router. Also, other devices hogging the bandwidth could be the culprit.

Are you downloading during peak hours? Try downloading early in the morning or late at night when fewer people are online. Trust me, it makes a difference.

I had the same issue, turns out it was my ISP dragging its feet. Run a speed test to see if you're getting the speeds you're supposed to.

Could be Steam's servers having a bad day. Sometimes, certain servers get overloaded. Try switching your download region in Steam settings.

Ugh, my Steam Deck was slow to download too. But switching to a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection instead of 2.4GHz made it fly! Give it a shot.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
