Steam downloads might be slow for a bunch of reasons. First, check your internet connection; it might be the culprit. If your net's fine, the Steam server could be overloaded, especially during big sales or game launches. Also, peek into your Steam settings and make sure your download bandwidth isn't limited and that you're connected to a server close to you for the best speeds. And don't forget to clear that download cache!

It's all about the server location, IMO. Pick a server closer to you in the Steam settings. Changed mine once and it was like night and day.

Did you try turning it off and on again? Classic, but works more often than you'd think.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
