Super Sonic is not initially playable in Sonic Forces because Sega wanted to keep the transformation as a special reward, unlocked through DLC. Makes him feel more like a rare treat!

I played Sonic Forces and Super Sonic's absence at first bummed me out, but the DLC made it worth the wait. Download it and go supersonic!

Super Sonic was available as a free downloadable content (DLC) update for Sonic Forces. You won't find him playable right out of the box, but a quick download will get you there!

Hot take: Maybe Sega wanted to avoid making the game too easy. Super Sonic's invincibility could just trivialize those tough levels.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
