Not all fandoms are perfect, and Undertale's is no exception! The game's popularity brought in a huge variety of fans, which means there's bound to be some bad apples causing drama.

A lot of the negativity might be exaggerated. Every big community has its overzealous fans, but the Undertale fandom is mostly full of people who really love the game.

I've been in the Undertale fandom since day one, and while there are a few trolls, I've met some of the nicest people through this game. It's all about where you look!

To be honest, the toxicity is overblown. Most of the community is pretty chill and just wants to share appreciation for the game.

Some of the toxicity comes from disagreements on how to play the game鈥攕ome folks are super passionate about pacifist runs, while others enjoy a more aggressive approach. Different strokes for different folks!
