Why is there an 'X' in Hunter x Hunter?
I always thought the 'x' signified the duality in the show, like the contrast between characters and their journeys.

The 'X' in Hunter x Hunter is mostly just stylistic. It's not meant to be pronounced, so just say 'Hunter Hunter'!
From what I've heard, the 'x' represents a kind of cross or intersection of different hunters' paths and stories.
It's probably there to make it sound cooler. 'Hunter x Hunter' just has a nice ring to it!
