Why Is There No Super Mario Galaxy 3?

Nintendo never sticks with one formula for too long. They always innovate and bring new experiences instead of repeating the same thing.
Honestly, I'd say they felt two games were enough and wanted to explore other creative directions. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are already legendary!
