Different studio, different vibe! Studio Pierrot probably wanted to give Tokyo Ghoul:re its own unique visual flair. You either love it or hate it.
No offense, but I think the art style change helped better convey the evolution of the story and the characters. It's just a matter of taste.
Let's be real: some folks just miss the dark, gritty vibes of the earlier seasons. Change isn't always easy!
