Yamamoto probably isn't in MLB The Show 24 because he hasn't signed with an MLB team yet. The game only includes players in the official MLB database.

Guys, unless he's in an MLB team's system, he won't be in the game. Simple as that.

I asked the same thing. Turns out, MLB The Show only includes players who are officially part of MLB rosters. No team, no game appearance!
