Yuta Okkotsu actually is in Jujutsu Kaisen, just not initially in the anime's first season or the early parts of the manga. He's the main character of the prequel, 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0'. His story takes place before the events of the main series, and he gets woven into the larger narrative later on. So, if you've only watched the first season or read the early manga chapters, you won't see him just yet. Patience, friend!

Honestly, thinking Yuta should be in the main storyline from the get-go kinda misses the point. 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' sets him up big time, and his absence in the early parts of JJK is what makes his later appearance so impactful. It's all about the build-up!

If you're a Jujutsu Kaisen fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
