Bonds opted out of the MLBPA's licensing agreement back in the day, so he's not in the player pool for the game.

It's simple: Barry Bonds has licensing issues that keep his name out of MLB The Show. Sad but true!

Barry Bonds isn't in MLB The Show because he never agreed with the MLBPA to have his likeness included in the game.

Barry Bonds has never participated in the MLBPA鈥檚 licensing, which is why you won't see him swinging for the fences in MLB The Show.

From what I know, Barry Bonds isn't a part of MLB The Show because of licensing conflicts and personal choice. He鈥檚 always been a bit of a lone ranger when it comes to these things.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
