They probably didn’t change it much because the movie was well-received, and they wanted to keep the iconic moments intact. Plus, why fix what ain’t broken?

The exam isn't that different because the anime wanted to stay true to the events depicted in Boruto: Naruto the Movie. Consistency with the movie helps keep the story cohesive and familiar for fans!

Having watched both, I think they kept it the same to maintain the continuity and impact of those epic moments. Seeing them reenacted with more detail was still awesome!
