Derek Jeter isn't in MLB The Show likely because his licensing rights haven't been secured by the game developers or he has chosen not to participate.

Derek Jeter isn't in MLB The Show because he hasn't agreed to a licensing deal with the game yet. Maybe he's too busy with his Hall of Fame duties!

Probably some licensing issue or Jeter just didn't want to be featured. Still, it's a bummer for Yankees fans!

Jeter might not be in the game due to licensing agreements. Maybe one day, but not today!

It鈥檚 all about the licensing rights! If the game can't secure them, no Jeter for us.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
