Why isn't GTA 5 crossplay enabled?
AssemblingDelta路7 months agoGTA 5 isn't crossplay because Rockstar didn't design it with cross-platform compatibility in mind. Each version of the game is optimized for the specific hardware it's on, like PS4, Xbox, or PC, which makes cross-platform play a bit tricky. Plus, there's the whole issue of keeping game balance and ensuring fair play, which can be a lot more complex when you're dealing with different platforms.

Crossplay in GTA 5? Nah, Rockstar hasn't flipped that switch. It's all about the $$$, folks. More platforms, more copies sold. Simple as that.
Crossplay in GTA 5 would have been awesome, but I guess it's not in the cards. It's a bummer for sure, especially when you wanna team up with buddies on different systems. Maybe in GTA 6, Rockstar will consider it?
Honestly, I think GTA 5 without crossplay is a missed opportunity. I've got friends on Xbox and I'm over here on PS4, stranded on an island of gameplay solitude. Sad times.
