Sometimes, retired players like Ichiro have specific licensing agreements that might not align with the game's current contracts.

The rights to use Ichiro's image might be tied up with his personal agreements or MLB policies. Would love to see him in the game though!

Honestly, Ichiro's absence could be due to anything from licensing issues to him not wanting to be featured. Bummer, right?

Ichiro isn't in MLB The Show probably because they lack the rights to his likeness. It's all about legal stuff, ya know?

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
