Game developers sometimes miss out on adding upcoming rookies, even if fans are eagerly waiting for them. Patience, my friend!

Saw this issue too. Mayer isn't in the game since he's still in the minors. Gotta wait till he gets called up.

Injuries or contractual stuff can sometimes delay adding new players. Maybe that's the case here?

Marcelo Mayer isn't in MLB The Show 24 probably because he hasn't made his MLB debut yet. Rookies typically aren't added until they hit the big leagues.

Hot take: Why do people expect every rising star to be in the game? Devs can only do so much!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
