Hold down the PS button and the Share button on the controller for about 5 seconds until the light bar starts flashing. Then, connect it via USB and press the PS button again!

Hot take: Your controller might need pairing, but it could also be interference from other Bluetooth devices nearby. Move other devices away and try again.

Make sure your controller is charged. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best!

Try resetting your controller. There's a tiny button on the back near the L2 button. Just press it with a paperclip or something similar, then reconnect.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
