Try holding the power button for at least 7 seconds until you hear two beeps; it might be stuck in rest mode.

If your console still won't turn on, it might be time to check the power cable or try a different outlet. I've had to replace my power cable once, and it did the trick!

Worst-case scenario, there could be an internal hardware issue. You may need to contact PlayStation support for further assistance.

Check if your PlayStation is properly plugged into the power outlet and the power strip is switched on. Sometimes it's the simplest things!

Have you tried a different power cord? It's possible the one you're using is faulty or damaged.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
