Why isn't Steam downloading games?
DemonstratingUnit路7 months agoOh, the classic Steam download dilemma! There are a few reasons this might be happening: 1) Check your internet connection, because no net equals no download. 2) You might have hit your data cap, so Steam's taking a nap. 3) Steam servers might be on a coffee break (aka, they're down). 4) Your Steam client could be outdated, and it needs a refresh. Last but not least, 5) Your game cache could be throwing a tantrum, so clearing it might smooth things out.

Servers down, maybe? Happens more often than you'd think. Steam's got a lot of plates spinning.
Just restart your router and Steam. Works for me like, 90% of the time when downloads get stuck.
Y'all are missing the obvious - maybe it's just a sign to go outside, lol.
