Why is the Mortal Kombat Movie Bad?
The special effects were okay, but the storyline felt rushed and didn't give enough time to develop the characters properly. It's hard to care when you barely know 'em!

Look, the Mortal Kombat movie tried to fit a lot of lore and fanservice into a short runtime, but it just didn't have the same magic as the games. Plus, some of those fight scenes felt more like dance-offs!
Honestly, it's pretty simple: the movie couldn't live up to the hype and legacy of the games. Sometimes, less is more.
As someone who grew up with the games, I was super excited but ended up disappointed. The plot holes and lack of character depth really let me down.
