First, try charging it. Sometimes the battery is just dead, and a little juice can bring it back to life!

Hold down the PS button and the share button simultaneously until the light bar flashes, then connect it to your PS4 with a USB cable.

Check the charging cable and port. A faulty cable or damaged port could be the culprit.

Sometimes, a reset can do wonders. There's a small hole on the back of the controller. Use a paperclip to press the reset button.
