Johnny Cage has been such a staple of Mortal Kombat, it鈥檚 surprising when he's not included. It might be for storyline reasons or to introduce other characters.

Honestly, the devs probably just wanted to mix things up and keep the roster fresh. There's always a chance he'll return in future updates or DLCs!
