Plants vs Zombies Adventures got the axe because it simply didn't rake in enough green. Despite being a fun twist on the PvZ formula, the game was shut down by EA in October 2014 due to its inability to attract and maintain a large enough player base. Basically, it's all about the numbers, and sadly, PvZ Adventures didn't make the cut.

It was all about the $$$!

EA never gave a super clear reason, but it pretty much boils down to money and player interest. If a game isn't making enough money or keeping players engaged, companies like EA tend to shut it down to focus on more profitable ventures. So, despite the unique aspects of PvZ Adventures, it just didn't pay off in the long run.

If you're a Plants vs Zombies player looking for extra money or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Plants vs Zombies essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
