Raiden took a break from Mortal Kombat 3 because the developers wanted to freshen up the roster and give some other characters a chance to shine. Don't worry; he came back with a vengeance in Mortal Kombat Trilogy!

Raiden was off consulting with the Elder Gods or maybe just recharging his batteries. Who knows with these immortal types?

Raiden was MIA in Mortal Kombat 3 because Midway Games wanted to try out new characters. They brought him back in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, though!

Raiden didn鈥檛 get invited to the MK3 party. Maybe he was busy saving Earthrealm and couldn't RSVP in time.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
