Just wanted to say that Mario鈥檚 return to sandbox was a masterstroke! Linear levels are great, but sometimes you want a world you can lose yourself in. Odyssey delivered that perfectly.

Let's be real, the sandbox style provides a compelling, non-linear experience that keeps players engaged longer. Also, collecting all the moons feels incredibly satisfying!

Super Mario Odyssey went back to the sandbox style because fans love the freedom to explore huge, open worlds and discover all the hidden secrets. Plus, who doesn't want to spend hours capturing random objects with Cappy?!

Using a sandbox style brings out the best in Mario games, making it easier to hide interesting secrets and challenges. They knew we missed it!
