Dragon Ball GT got cancelled mainly because of low ratings and mixed reviews from fans. People missed Akira Toriyama's original touch and the familiar vibe.
Hot take: GT had great ideas, but execution was off. Fans weren’t vibing with the new direction.
As someone who grew up watching it, I can say GT felt like a different show. Fans just didn't connect with it like the original or DBZ.
