GTA San Andreas got pulled from Steam because Rockstar released a remastered version for the Definitive Edition. They wanna make sure you're getting the latest and greatest, so they phased out the old version. Plus, it helps streamline the purchase options - you know, less confusion over which version to buy.

It's all about pushing the newer, shinier version. Rockstar dropped the original GTA San Andreas from Steam to nudge players towards the Definitive Edition. Makes sense from a biz perspective, even if it ruffles some feathers.

They didn't 'remove' it, per se. Rockstar just replaced the classic GTA San Andreas with the remastered Definitive Edition. You're not losing out; you're getting an upgrade!

Money talks. Selling the remastered version means more $$$ for Rockstar. Simple as that.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
