Actually, Acceleracers was epic and deserved more seasons. The problem was not with the audience or the cars; it was with marketing. They just didn't promote it enough, and a lot of fans came in too late, after the show was already cancelled.

Hot Wheels Acceleracers got the axe because it was too ahead of its time. The mix of real cars and wild fantasy just didn't resonate back then as much as it would now. Plus, the transition from toy to screen didn't quite stick the landing in terms of sales.

Hot Wheels Acceleracers was cancelled mainly because it didn't hit the expected target audience interest and toy sales. Basically, the show was cool, but the merch just didn't fly off the shelves like they hoped. Plus, storylines were getting complex, and it was challenging to keep the younger audience hooked.

IDK, thought it was pretty niche. Not everyone was into the mix of CGI and die-cast models, maybe?
