It simply boils down to money. Shows for kids get pulled faster if they don't pull in enough from ads and merch. Battle Force 5 just wasn't making the cut anymore.

From what I've seen, it wasn't just sales. There was also a shift in market interest towards digital and interactive toys. Battle Force 5 didn't evolve fast enough to keep up.

Honestly, kids just got bored. My nephews moved on to other things pretty quickly. Shows need to keep up with trends or they're out.

Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 got the axe due to a dip in toy sales and viewership. Shows like these heavily rely on merchandise sales to survive. If the toys don't fly off the shelves, it's curtains for the show.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
