Mortal Kombat Annihilation got recast because the original actors had scheduling conflicts or other commitments. Plus, the studio probably wanted a fresh start for the sequel!

Sometimes, it's just about money, folks. Studios may have found it cheaper to cast new actors instead of bringing back the originals.

A lot of the actors from the first Mortal Kombat movie either couldn't or didn't want to return for Annihilation. Hollywood's a fickle place!

Recasting happens all the time in sequels. Maybe they wanted new faces to bring a different vibe to the movie. As someone who watched it, the changes were... interesting.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
