Why Was One Punch Man Season 2 So Bad?
Season 2 had a noticeable drop in animation quality because they switched studios from Madhouse to J.C. Staff. Also, the pacing felt off compared to the first season. It's like they put Saitama's training regimen on the production schedule!

They switched animation studios from Madhouse to J.C. Staff, and boy, could you tell! The quality drop was real.
From personal experience, the biggest letdown was the pacing. The first season had such tight storytelling, while the second seemed stretched out.
Not everyone thinks Season 2 was bad. It developed some interesting characters like Garou. Different strokes for different folks!
