The original actress, Bridgette Wilson, couldn't make it for the sequel due to other engagements. Sandra Hess stepped in and gave it her best shot!

Sonya Blade was recast in Mortal Kombat Annihilation because Bridgette Wilson, the original actress, had scheduling conflicts and couldn't return for the sequel.

Scheduling conflicts. It happens.

From what I've read, Bridgette Wilson had other commitments that didn't align with the filming schedule of Mortal Kombat Annihilation. So they brought in Sandra Hess as her replacement.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
