Ripto's Rage? Nah. Europeans got Gateway to Glimmer for Spyro 2. It's like they got the fancy name—lucky them!

The name change to Gateway to Glimmer for Spyro 2 in Europe came down to marketing. They thought it would attract more players!

In Europe, they renamed Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! to Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer because it sounded more magical and appealing!

Having played both versions, I can say the change was purely for regional marketing. Same great game, different name!
