The delay was mainly due to COVID-19 impacting production schedules and theater availability. Not unusual these days!

Trust me, as a huge MK fan, the delay happened because the pandemic messed with everything. The extra wait means an even better experience for us!

The Mortal Kombat movie was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It disrupted filming schedules and led to theater closures, so they had to push back the release date.

They needed more time to perfect the fatalities! Just kidding, but they really did delay it to ensure the movie was polished and ready for its debut.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
