Why wasn't ragdoll physics included in GTA San Andreas?
GTA San Andreas didn't include ragdoll physics mainly cuz the game's engine, RenderWare, wasn't designed with ragdoll physics in mind. At the time of its development, this feature was still pretty new and not widely adopted. Implementing ragdoll physics would have required a significant overhaul of the game's physics engine, which could have delayed the game's release. Plus, the hardware of the era (PS2, Xbox, and early PCs) might not have handled it well, making for a less smooth gaming experience.

No ragdoll in San Andreas? No biggie. It was all about the story, missions, and that jetpack. Who needs ragdoll when you can fly a jetpack anyway?
Just think about it, back in 2004, consoles and PCs were still getting the hang of handling complex physics. GTA San Andreas was ambitious enough with its massive open world. Adding ragdoll physics? That would've been a performance nightmare!
