If you鈥檙e getting an error, it could be a bug. Logging out and back in or updating your app often fixes these glitches!
There might be a few reasons for this. First, they could have set their privacy settings to limit friend requests just to friends of friends. Or maybe they've hit the friend limit (Facebook caps it at 5,000!).
They might have blocked you or you might have blocked them before. Check your blocked list to see if that鈥檚 the issue.
