Why Won't It Let Me Update Fortnite?
Sometimes, the Epic Games Launcher itself needs an update. Close and restart the launcher or even reboot your device. Worked for me last time.

Check if your device storage is full. Fortnite updates can be huge, so you need enough free space. Clear out some files and try again!
Just restart your device. Simple, but it works more often than you'd think.
Make sure your device meets the minimum system requirements. If your hardware is out-of-date, it might not support the update.
Are you on a stable internet connection? A poor connection can stall updates. Switch to a wired connection if you can!
