Why won't my GTA install on PS4?

Oh man, the dreaded GTA install issue. Most of the time, it's because there’s not enough storage space on your PS4. GTA games are massive! Check if you've got enough room. Also, try restarting your PS4 and make sure your internet connection is stable just in case it's trying to download updates as well. If all else fails, your game disc might be dirty or damaged if you're not downloading it digitally.

Honestly, just make sure your PS4 isn't full. GTA is a huge game, and I had to delete like 3 other games just to make room for it. Also, check for scratches on your disc if you're using a physical copy.

Might sound weird, but check your PS4's date and time settings. Had an issue where mine were all wrong, and for some reason, it messed with installing some games. Fixed the time, and GTA installed fine.

Had the same problem. Turns out, my PS4 needed a system update. Once I updated it, GTA installed without a hitch. Make sure your console's software is up to date!
