In Starfield, your ship won't magically repair itself; you need to use ship repair kits or utilize the ship's repair station if available. Remember to keep spare kits onboard for those unexpected space skirmishes!
Have you tried checking if you've got enough ship repair kits? Without them, your ship's gonna stay as busted as my old car.
Make sure you're out of hostile territory. Sometimes you can't repair while enemies are around. Clear the area and try again.
