I had the same issue, and it turned out I was logged into Tinder on multiple devices. Make sure you're logged out everywhere, then delete from your primary device.
Check if you have any active subscriptions like Tinder Plus, as sometimes these can mess things up. Once you cancel those, try deleting again!
