Steam can be picky with payment methods. Make sure your card supports online, international payments since that's often the hang-up. If it's all good there, and Steam still says nope, consider using a different card or payment service like PayPal or a Steam Wallet Code.

There might be a few reasons why Steam's not taking your debit card. First off, check if your card's international transactions are enabled since Steam's a global platform. Another thing, make sure your card details are spot-on and your card hasn鈥檛 expired or run out of funds. Sometimes, banks flag online transactions as fishy and block them, so giving your bank a quick call can help too! Lastly, if none of this works, try adding your card to PayPal and use PayPal as your payment method on Steam. Good luck, gamer!

Sometimes it's just the Steam servers being moody. Wait it out and try again later. Had this happen to me once and it worked fine the next day.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
