First thing's first: check the power cable! Ensure it's properly plugged into both the console and the wall outlet. Sometimes it's the simplest things.

Hot take: It might be time to upgrade. If all else fails and your console still won鈥檛 power on, your old Xbox might be telling you it鈥檚 time for greener pastures... like the Xbox Series X/S.

You might wanna try a hard reset. Unplug the power cable for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and see if that does the trick.

I had this issue and turned out it was the power brick. If you have an older Xbox, the power supply can sometimes fail. Try borrowing one from a friend to test it.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
